Falling slowly is one of my favorite books by Lila Bruce and this book doesn't disappoint either. I wasn't actuall ready for it to end so quickly but it's not like it leaves you with unanswered questions. I sometimes just don't like to say goodbye to characters that I like. I bought this one because I read "Falling Slowly" by the same author. It was a really short story but it was fun. The only thing I have to say is that some sentences didn't mean anything and that was a bit disturbing.
This was very good I gave it 5 stars but just as it was getting good it ended. I'm hoping there will a sequel to The Scent of Jasmine.
Short and sweet. It is a reminder that no matter how devastating a breakup is, there is the possibility of new love if you let it in.
Just a plain hot and steamy love story!
Loved it. It was a quick read. But was not rushed in anyway. It was a complete story. I absolutely loved it.
Great read and funny but hoping for a sequel I'd love to see the struggle to keep their agreement in tact till July. And maybe have Emma come back and realize what she let go and lost to Jessica
This is the tale of an Interior Decorator Grace, and a Hot Sauce Mogul, Jessica. Both of the women have no desire to meet anyone after their last relationships. Jessica has just moved back to her home town after the death of her mother. Needing the place to be re-done, she hires Grace. Maybe with the instant attraction they have met someone anyway.
This is a sweet and fast read. It was quite enjoyable with a good plot line before the inevitable sex scene. It is a perfect book to take to the beach or for a lazy afternoon on the patio. Enjoy it, I know I did!
